Max Essa - Drive Time
UK born, Japanese-based Max Essa delivers us a tasty morsel and appetizer for upcoming album on Bearfunk. Drive Time is a slice of trademark slick, slo-mo disco. Live drums, rolling bass synths and sundrenched chord changes. Drive Time conjures up visions of sunsets, surfboards, highway 101 and long lazy days.
Irish based John Daly delivers his re-rub on the flip, adding in chunky stabs and rolling synth lines... but still managing to retain the slo-mo feel.
The album 'Continental Drift' is out in March.
